We aim to work collaboratively, modelling rural and ecumenical as a way of life.
It’s the local ‘on the ground’ relationships that make the difference for our rural mission and ministry: "If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all” (Romans 12:18).
The Rural Mission and Ministry Officer is also part of the Joint Public Issues Team, with a brief to advocate for the complex social issues faced by our diverse rural communities. If you're interested in rural representation and having your voice heard, then please sign up to join a Rural Solidarity Circle here.
Many of our regional chaplaincy teams operate ecumenically, often also in conjunction with Farming Community Network. For further rural chaplaincy support, please click here.
