Since 2019, New Places for New People has grown through collaborative, relational work across districts, circuits and the Connexional Team. Appointing a district lead is a natural next step, offering focused support to develop existing communities and encourage new ones to emerge.
How will this work?
Every district will receive funding for a dedicated half-time New Places for New People lead. These leads won’t work alone. They will partner with both the District NPNP team and Connexional NPNP team to:
identify, encourage and inspire local pioneers
help shape a shared vision for New Places for New People across the district
journey alongside the emerging communities
support the faith formation and discipleship of all ages within the communities.
