The Mother House is our District NPNP project, it exists to support pioneers, by being a community of practitioners who learn, develop and safely explore the opportunities and challenges of pioneer ministry without judgement or prejudice. A good number of projects are already working outside the normal reach of church whilst numerous pioneers and missioners are endeavouring to plant new expressions of church, reaching out to those who do not already attend. The Mother House seeks to build on the existing network of pioneers leading to a network of new communities, as well as building on connections with the District, the Pioneer Pathway, the Evangelism and Growth Team and other bodies. It will create focus and space to identify new pioneers and potential projects.
A post lock-down, exhausted District needs the support & impetus that the Mother House will give in order to maximise the potential of phase 2. Gatherings will prioritise food, prayer and laughter. and it will act as a home for pioneers and pioneer projects. Projects and pioneers will come in all different shapes and sizes but will be united by a desire for NPNP and a move of God's Spirit.
